5-Day Intensive IB Exam Practice Programme
Ready to Put Your IB Exam Preparation into Practice?
Prepare for your final International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations with Study Academy Vienna’s intensive Final IB Easter Exam Practice & Techniques (On-Ground) programme in Vienna.

Students complete IB Paper 1, Paper 2 and, where applicable, Paper 3 practice under realistic examination conditions, followed by detailed correction, analysis and personalised feedback from experienced IB teachers and IB examiners. From IB Revision to Real Exam Performance
The Final IB Easter Exam Practice & Techniques programme represents the final stage between IB revision and the actual examinations. Instead of reviewing the complete IB syllabus again, students discover how effectively they can apply their knowledge when working independently and under time pressure.
The experience helps students recognise which question types require more attention, refine their approach to individual IB examination papers, and make better use of the time available in each exam. By the end of the programme, students have a clearer understanding of their individual performance and a focused plan for the final days before their IB exams.
How Our Final IB Easter Exam Practice & Techniques Programme Works

Each IB subject is covered over 2.5 days, combining realistic timed exam practice with detailed teacher feedback, targeted revision, and subject-specific examination techniques. Students review the day’s learning, discuss challenging topics, work through IB past-paper questions and compare different approaches to exam questions. They can also exchange revision strategies and reinforce key IB exam techniques in preparation for their final IB examinations. Students who require additional individual support can arrange optional private IB tuition, subject to teacher availability and an additional fee.
Turn IB Exam Practice into Better Exam Performance
Successful IB exam preparation is not only about knowing the subject content. Students must be able to interpret questions accurately, select relevant knowledge and communicate answers effectively within the time available. This programme develops the practical examination skills needed to turn IB subject knowledge into stronger performance across different papers and question types.
During the Programme, Students Will:
- Interpret IB exam questions accurately and recognise what each question requires
- Use IB command terms to determine the depth and structure of an answer
- Select and apply relevant subject knowledge
- Structure clear, focused and well-developed examination responses
- Plan longer responses and essays efficiently before writing
- Allocate examination time strategically according to available marks
- Prioritise higher-value questions and avoid spending too long on individual sections
- Use subject-specific terminology, evidence, calculations or working accurately
- Adapt their approach to different IB question types and examination papers
- Make effective use of reading, planning and checking time where applicable
- Review completed answers strategically and identify errors before submitting exam papers
- Develop greater independence, confidence and control during examinations
Your Personal IB Exam Strategy
Every student approaches the final IB examinations with different strengths and priorities. By the end of the programme, students use what they have learned about their own examination performance to create a personal final IB exam strategy.
Rather than trying to revise everything again, students determine how to use their remaining preparation time effectively, which areas deserve the greatest attention and how to approach each examination paper with a clear strategy. The aim is for students to enter their final IB exams knowing how to manage their time, organise their responses, make effective decisions under pressure and demonstrate what they know as successfully as possible.

Highly Experienced IB Teachers & IB Examiners
The quality of final IB exam preparation depends greatly on the knowledge, experience, and understanding of IB assessment that each teacher brings to the classroom. At Study Academy Vienna, our Final IB Easter Exam Practice & Techniques programme is taught by educators who understand how students need to apply their subject knowledge effectively under examination conditions.
Our IB teachers and IB examiners have at least 15–20 years of experience teaching IB students at leading international schools around the world. Some are also authors of IB textbooks used by students and schools internationally. Their extensive knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme includes assessment criteria, mark schemes, command terms and subject-specific examination requirements. This enables them to analyse student responses carefully, identify why marks may have been missed, and provide practical guidance that students can apply to future examination questions.
Our IB Teachers Help Students:
- Interpret IB exam questions accurately
- Apply subject knowledge effectively under examination conditions
- Understand what examiners expect from strong responses
- Recognise patterns in mistakes and areas requiring improvement
- Use IB mark schemes and assessment criteria effectively
- Refine subject-specific examination strategies
- Improve the clarity and precision of written responses
- Approach unfamiliar and challenging questions strategically
- Make better decisions when working under time pressure
- Become more confident and independent in the examination room
IB Teaching Experience That Makes a Difference
During intensive IB exam practice, experienced teachers can look beyond whether an answer is simply right or wrong. They can identify why marks have been lost, where an answer could be strengthened, and which changes could improve future performance. This allows teachers to provide targeted feedback within the small-group setting, while addressing both individual and shared areas for improvement.
Students have the opportunity to discuss their completed work directly with their teacher, understand alternative approaches and recognise which strategies are most effective for their individual IB subject. By applying this guidance to further questions, students learn from their own performance and develop a more precise approach to the final examinations.
The goal is for every student to finish the programme with a stronger understanding of how to demonstrate their knowledge effectively and turn their preparation into the best possible performance in their final IB examinations.
