Beyond the Scheduled Lessons

Learning continues beyond the formal timetable, giving students additional opportunities to consolidate their knowledge, exchange ideas and strengthen their IB exam preparation. Students can take part in collaborative discussions and peer revision with fellow IB students, sharing study strategies and working through challenging topics and difficult exam questions together. Dedicated study time in the inspiring surroundings of Schloss Miller-Aichholz provides further opportunities for independent revision and focused preparation. Students can also discuss additional IB exam techniques and strategies and, where needed, arrange optional private IB tuition and individual academic support tailored to their subject and level.

From Revision to Exam Performance

Knowing the content is only one part of succeeding in an IB examination. Students also need to know how to use their knowledge strategically when faced with different question types, time pressure and unfamiliar exam scenarios. Our Final IB Easter Revision Courses therefore help students recognise their individual strengths and weaknesses and understand where to focus their remaining revision time. Through targeted exam practice, students learn which areas still require attention and which strategies work best for them.

By the end of the course, students should leave with clear revision priorities, stronger examination strategies and a practical plan for the final weeks before their IB exams. The goal is for every student to leave their IB Easter Revision Course with stronger subject knowledge, improved examination skills and greater confidence as they approach their final IB Diploma examinations.

Payment Information

A €500 non-refundable deposit is required after the application has been accepted to confirm the student’s place. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the course begins. For registrations made within 60 days, the full course fee is due after acceptance.

Payment is made by bank transfer, with payment details provided directly after registration. The bank account is held by the Founder & Owner of Study Academy Vienna and is the official account used for all Study Academy Vienna course payments and registrations.

Once the deposit has been received, students receive written confirmation of their registration and confirmed place. Before the course, students and parents receive the individual course timetable, arrival information, accommodation details (where applicable), and all final programme information needed to prepare for their course and stay in Vienna.

Accommodation Information

Residential fees are based on shared-room accommodation. The number of nights shown is approximate, and 1–3 additional nights may be required depending on the student’s timetable, as lessons also run on weekends. Fees include 3-star hotel accommodation with en-suite facilities, breakfast, lunch, snacks, refreshments and 24/7 pastoral care. Single rooms are available at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Medical Insurance

Residential students must have valid medical insurance for the duration of their stay in Vienna. EU students may use a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC); non-EU students require appropriate private medical insurance.

Our experienced IB teachers adapt explanations, questions, IB exam practice and the level of support to students within each small group. Students who need additional help receive clear explanations and guided practice, while stronger students are challenged with more complex questions, IB past papers and advanced exam techniques.

Teachers quickly identify knowledge gaps and provide targeted feedback on where students may be losing marks. This ensures that every student is supported and appropriately challenged during their intensive IB revision.

Students are not learning the IB syllabus for the first time; the course provides focused, intensive revision of the two years of IB subject content before the final examinations.

Our experienced IB teachers systematically revise the syllabus while combining subject knowledge with IB past-paper questions, exam practice and subject-specific exam techniques.

Teachers identify challenging topics and give them additional attention while students actively ask questions and practise exam-style tasks. The intensive format is designed to maximise every lesson and help students enter their final IB exams better prepared and more confident.

After lessons, students can continue IB revision and past-paper practice, study independently or with other students, or relax and recharge. Teachers may provide additional revision time when needed, and students can use Schloss Miller-Aichholz for quiet individual or group study.

Optional private IB tuition can also be arranged with teachers, subject to availability and an additional fee. Residential students also have time to enjoy the campus, go out for dinner and spend time with other IB students from around the world.
